Roast Turkey Gravy Recipe


This is a great turkey gravy.  A must have with any turkey dinner.


Ingredients:

Turkey juices from Roasted Turkey

1 Cup Potato Water from mashed potatoes

2 Tbsp. Water

2 Tbsp. Flour

3 - 4 Cups Giblet Stock

Salt

Pepper


Directions:

Best to skim off half of the fat in the turkey juices in the roasting pan.  Then add the potato water, stir, making sure to scrap up the brown bits off the bottom.


Pour this into a saucepan.  Place the flour and water into a small jar or zipper seal bag; shake well.  Add this mixture to the saucepan, stirring with a whisk.  Next add the giblet stock and stir well.  Boil over a high heat until it’s your desired consistency; make sure to stir frequently.  Season with salt and pepper.
